The Packers clearly saw something nobody else did in Matthew Jones, taking him 26 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The Fautanu pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
