The Packers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Tahj Washington fell into Round 6, Pick 44.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. They are betting Tupuola-Fetui proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
