The Packers worked the phones like thieves and earned a B.

Nobody had Nathan Pickering this high, and it is not close. The Packers reached 114 spots to get him at pick 255. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. That King pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
