The board owed the Packers one, and it paid up: Jeremiah Trotter Jr., the No. 59 name on the board, sitting there at No. 127 like a gift left on the doorstep.

Hartman has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
