Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Packers spent slot 255 on Dylan McMahon, a name the board had a full 38 spots lower.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. Getting Robinson where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Adding Dre Greenlaw by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
