Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B+
ValueB NeedB TradesA+ FutureB-
The Packers won the night they stopped Harden from sliding. Grade: B+.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Packers watched Myles Harden slide 59 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

Every board in the league had Gray lower, and that gap is the story. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. With quarterback and tight end unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick32 Rnd1 Terrion Arnold
In Round 1, Pick 32 they get a lockdown presence outside, outstanding value to boot. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick41 Rnd2 T'Vondre Sweat
By-the-book stuff, T'Vondre Sweat at pick 41 squarely in line with his ranking. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick58 Rnd2 Kamren Kinchens
Kamren Kinchens in the 58th overall pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick64 Rnd2 Payton Wilson
Payton Wilson slipping to pick No. 64 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick88 Rnd3 Cedric Gray
They bypassed pressing needs at quarterback and tight end to take Cedric Gray, a linebacker that was not the priority.
Pick91 Rnd3 Dominick Puni
They did well to land Dominick Puni in the Round 3 slot, just ahead of his grade. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick127 Rnd4 Khyree Jackson
Taking Khyree Jackson in the 127th pick is close to grand larceny; a cornerback that good had no business lasting this long. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick158 Rnd5 Trevor Keegan
Trevor Keegan in slot 158 is fair value, right on his grade. It fills a real need, too.
Pick168 Rnd5 Marist Liufau
Marist Liufau in the 168th pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. A want more than a need, though you can never have too many.
Pick204 Rnd6 Kendall Milton
Kendall Milton at the Round 6 slot is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick216 Rnd6 Keith Randolph Jr.
Value with a capital V on Keith Randolph Jr. in No. 216, a genuine coup. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick243 Rnd7 Myles Harden
Myles Harden at pick 243 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick251 Rnd7 Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint
Circle this one: Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint at Round 7, Pick 31 is a fall that decides a draft. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
