Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B
ValueC+ NeedB TradesA- FutureB
Nothing loud, just a tidy B for the Packers.

The Packers torched the value chart for Tommy Eichenberg, taking him 34 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. The bottom line is a respectable B.

They banked enough surplus on Kinchens to cover a lot of smaller sins. The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick25 Rnd1 Chop Robinson
They paid a round early for Chop Robinson in No. 25, more than the board wanted. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick41 Rnd2 T'Vondre Sweat
A swing that ignored the value entirely, T'Vondre Sweat well ahead of where he belonged. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick57 Rnd2 Kamren Kinchens
Kamren Kinchens at the Round 2 slot is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick88 Rnd3 Audric Estime
A conviction pick on Audric Estime at pick 88 that the board grades a round light. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick91 Rnd3 Tommy Eichenberg
Tommy Eichenberg in the 91st pick is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick125 Rnd4 Matt Goncalves
Matt Goncalves at Round 4, Pick 25 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick135 Rnd4 Javion Cohen
A premium they did not need to pay, Javion Cohen a notch or two before his time. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick203 Rnd6 Myles Jones
They took Myles Jones at par in slot 203, which is nothing to complain about. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick217 Rnd6 Taulia Tagovailoa
A market-rate quarterback, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Taulia Tagovailoa. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick246 Rnd7 Joshua Cephus
A quiet steal in the Round 7 slot: Joshua Cephus for less than the market said. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
