The Giants ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. Every board in the league had Williams lower, and that gap is the story.

The veteran additions, Cam Taylor-Britt chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. Emmanwori falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
