Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Giants were there to profit. Jake Golday, the No. 84 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 4, Pick 5. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

The safety hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Good work on the whole, with safety the one box left unchecked.
