Start where it matters. The Bears took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The Bertrand value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Bears clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
