Best value of the weekend goes to the Panthers for Gabriel: B-.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Panthers did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

That is a quarterback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Nwankpa reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
