The Broncos got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Broncos did exactly that with Kalil Alexander in pick 175.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Getting Stowers where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Linebacker was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
