The phones were a trap the Bears kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. Too much went sideways, and the D+ is the honest tally.

The Williams pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at linebacker and quarterback. The linebacker hole is the one line item this class does not answer. If Rosemy-Jacksaint pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

Getting Tampa where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and linebacker is still a hole.
