If confidence were a draft strategy, the Giants would have aced it. Collin Oliver at Round 5, Pick 16 is 144 spots clear of where he belonged.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
