They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. J.J. McCarthy is the Broncos' quarterback, full stop. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The cost of the Taylor III reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
