Draft Grade — Titans
Overall B-
ValueB NeedB- TradesB- FutureB-
A respectable, level-headed haul for the Titans: B-.

The one they had to fix is still broken. The Titans left edge rusher untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Gabriel. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.

Pick Analysis
Pick1 Rnd1 Travis Hunter
In the 1st overall pick they get an island corner. Need was not the driver here.
Pick35 Rnd2 Emeka Egbuka
A reasonable price with a little left over, Emeka Egbuka in pick 35. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick103 Rnd4 Jalen Milroe
The board had Jalen Milroe higher than the 103rd pick, and the quarterback fell to them anyway. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick120 Rnd4 Emery Jones Jr.
By-the-book stuff, Emery Jones Jr. at Round 4, Pick 18 squarely in line with his ranking. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick141 Rnd5 Dillon Gabriel
Dillon Gabriel slipping to No. 141 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick167 Rnd5 Kalel Mullings
Kalel Mullings in the Round 5 slot is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick178 Rnd6 Jake Briningstool
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Jake Briningstool at slot 178 is the proof. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick188 Rnd6 Upton Stout
Upton Stout at pick No. 188 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A minor itch, scratched.
