The 49ers put a flag in the ground for Malachi Lawrence, 53 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. On value alone, Heidenreich makes the weekend a net positive.

They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
