You could see the war room lean forward. Jake Golday at No. 88 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

The Barham pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman, linebacker and other spots. The cost of the Barham reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
