The Eagles did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Eagles did exactly that with Zane Durant in the Round 4 slot.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. For all the activity, offensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

On the needs board they went 6 of 9, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

Denzel Boston at the 23rd overall pick is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the wide receiver. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
