Somebody in Round 4, Pick 17 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Lions sat still while Keon Sabb, the No. 97 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The cost of the Zuhn III reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Myles Bryant gives the group a proven body among the projects. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
