The Bengals clearly saw something nobody else did in Demorie Tate, taking him 58 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They will answer for taking edge rusher early while interior defensive lineman and quarterback went begging.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
