The steal of the weekend belongs to the 49ers and Fitzgerald: C.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The 49ers watched Ryan Fitzgerald slide 131 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Majors has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

If Tyler Warren and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
