Nobody had Phillip Webb this high, and it is not close. The Bears reached 192 spots to get him at the 149th pick.

That is an interior defensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

Bottom line, the swing picks will decide whether this ages well.
