Nobody else had Phillip Webb anywhere near pick No. 146. The Bears did, by 153 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

However the rest shakes out, Wilson at that price is a win they earned. The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
