The Phillip Webb pick is the one that will follow the Bears into the fall. They took him 190 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The Paul Jr. pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
