This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Ty'Ron Hopper, the No. 149 name on the board, stolen at No. 175. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They will need Perry to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
