Of all the ways to open, the Chiefs chose the head-scratcher, spending pick 92 on Maason Smith with tight end, quarterback and other spots still wide open. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Henderson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

The Jacobs pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
