Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Landing Smith-Wade that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

They chose more darts over a bigger single swing.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
