Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall B+
ValueB- NeedB+ TradesA+ FutureB-
The Raiders robbed the room for Harris. Final grade: B+.

The Raiders spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Tre Harris, the No. 192 name on the board, in No. 235. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Every board in the league had Stover lower, and that gap is the story.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.

Pick Analysis
Pick21 Rnd1 Dallas Turner
A straight-up fair deal on Dallas Turner at Round 1, Pick 21, value and slot in agreement. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick46 Rnd2 Cooper Beebe
No edge and no loss on Cooper Beebe in slot 46; it is a wash and a sensible one. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick52 Rnd2 Jermaine Burton
By-the-book stuff, Jermaine Burton at the Round 2 slot squarely in line with his ranking. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick78 Rnd3 Jaylin Simpson
Jaylin Simpson in pick 78 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick85 Rnd3 Zak Zinter
A clean, defensible pick in the 85th pick with a little surplus value in Zak Zinter. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick114 Rnd4 Khyree Jackson
They paid sticker price for Khyree Jackson in the 114th overall pick, and that is fine. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick120 Rnd4 Cade Stover
Cade Stover in pick No. 120 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick151 Rnd5 Tyler Guyton
They let Tyler Guyton come to them and pounced at No. 151. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick157 Rnd5 Cedric Gray
A quiet steal in the Round 5 slot: Cedric Gray for less than the market said. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick192 Rnd6 Devin Neal
The board had Devin Neal higher than pick 192, and the running back fell to them anyway. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick235 Rnd7 Tre Harris
They barely believed it either: Tre Harris still on the board at Round 7, Pick 15. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick241 Rnd7 Dwight McGlothern
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Dwight McGlothern at No. 241 is the proof. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
