Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Jets came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

It is not that Solomon is a bad player; it is that the Jets had louder needs to answer first. They will need Dankwah to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
