The Bears robbed the room for Rourke. Final grade: D.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Bears shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

They banked enough surplus on Rourke to cover a lot of smaller sins. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.
