The Broncos lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. Put together, it is a D-.

They are betting Lachey proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Bo Nix is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. The Pritchett pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. On value alone, Whittington makes the weekend a net positive.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
