Call it larceny. Rasheen Ali sat on the board until Round 6, Pick 42, and the Packers did not need to be asked twice. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
