The Browns spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Gunner Stockton, the No. 173 name on the board, in No. 210. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

Every board in the league had Miller lower, and that gap is the story. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

On the needs board they went 5 of 9, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
