If you want a masterclass in dealing, watch the Bears, who turned every swap into a profit this weekend. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

The cost of the Restrepo reach is exactly the players who went right after him. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Mahogany pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

The CeeDee Lamb deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

In the end it comes back to Dallas Turner, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
