Larceny in slot 106 lands the Titans a B, Taylor-Demerson and all. When a board-topper like Dadrion Taylor-Demerson slides to No. 106, you do not overthink it, and the Titans did not.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Glaze has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick Analysis
Pick10
Rnd1
Olumuyiwa Fashanu
In pick 10 they get a cornerstone up front. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick38
Rnd2
Kool-Aid McKinstry
Kool-Aid McKinstry at the 38th pick is money in the bank, a cornerback taken below his worth. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick80
Rnd3
Devontez Walker
Nice patience on Devontez Walker, who had no business lasting to pick No. 80. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick106
Rnd4
Dadrion Taylor-Demerson
The board fumbled Dadrion Taylor-Demerson all the way to the 106th overall pick, and they scooped it up. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick115
Rnd4
Mekhi Wingo
Nothing to complain about; Mekhi Wingo went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick146
Rnd5
Tommy Eichenberg
Tommy Eichenberg at No. 146 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick182
Rnd6
Kamal Hadden
Kamal Hadden slid further than he should have, and the Round 6 slot is lovely value for the cornerback. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
Pick183
Rnd6
Delmar Glaze
They paid up for Delmar Glaze at Round 6, Pick 8 when waiting would have done the job. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
