Nobody had Julian Fleming this high, and it is not close. The Giants reached 62 spots to get him at No. 219. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

On value alone, Starks makes the weekend a net positive. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
