Williams is the plan now, and the Bears grade out a B.

The Bears spent the pick that matters most on Caleb Williams, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. The bottom line is a respectable B.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They are betting Rice proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The Hall Jr. steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
