McNeil-Warren should have been long gone. The Chiefs pounced, and earned a D.

Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Chiefs, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

The Neal pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots still on the board. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Getting McNeil-Warren where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

If Cisse pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
