Larceny in pick No. 109 lands the Chiefs a D, Neal and all.

Somebody took the Chiefs to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

The offensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Neal pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at offensive lineman, quarterback and other spots. The Neal pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
