Draft Grade — Panthers
Overall

FutureB-
A solid, sensible weekend for the Panthers: B-. The one they had to fix is still broken. The Panthers left wide receiver untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.
The Williams pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick Analysis
Pick8
Rnd1
Mykel Williams
In the Round 1 slot they get a premier pass rusher, reach and all. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick57
Rnd2
Jack Sawyer
They took Jack Sawyer at par in slot 57, which is nothing to complain about. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
