The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Saints watched Jackson Slater slide 38 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
