Draft Grade — Seahawks

FutureB-
Hill Jr. should have been long gone. The Seahawks pounced, and earned a B. Call it larceny. Anthony Hill Jr. sat on the board until pick 64, and the Seahawks did not need to be asked twice.
They punted on offensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The cost of the Curry reach is exactly the players who went right after him.
On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most. The dealing was even money, start to finish.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick Analysis
Pick40
Rnd2
Brandon Cisse
Fair-plus on Brandon Cisse, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick64
Rnd2
Anthony Hill Jr.
A top-tier linebacker at a bargain, Anthony Hill Jr. in pick No. 64, plain and simple. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick96
Rnd3
Jadarian Price
Taking Jadarian Price in Round 3, Pick 32 is close to grand larceny; a running back that good had no business lasting this long. It fills a real need, too.
Pick109
Rnd4
Caden Curry
They went early on Caden Curry in pick 109, and the value did not follow. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick211
Rnd6
Eric McAlister
They will replay Eric McAlister at No. 211 for years; that is how good the value is. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
