Draft Grade — Chiefs

The Chiefs cashed the board's mistake on Sadiq: B-. Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Chiefs never addressed wide receiver, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.
They banked enough surplus on Sadiq to cover a lot of smaller sins. They are betting Parker proves the room right and everyone else wrong.
They left with tight end solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick9
Rnd1
T.J. Parker
In the 9th pick they get a bendy edge with upside, though they paid up to get him. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick40
Rnd2
Kenyon Sadiq
They barely believed it either: Kenyon Sadiq still on the board at pick No. 40. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
