The Eric Gentry selection is the head-turner. The Steelers reached 28 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Bullard. Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
