Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Cowboys spent slot 211 on Joey Slackman, a name the board had a full 101 spots lower. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

Getting Lambert-Smith where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up.

The Kris Jenkins deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
