The rest of the league will want that one back. Jamari Thrash tumbling to the Lions in pick 158 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

They will regret leaving safety for another day if the season turns on it. The cost of the Cole reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
