The Commanders got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

The Commanders put a flag in the ground for Solomon Tuliaupupu, 120 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. With quarterback unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Getting Stowers where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
