The steal of the weekend belongs to the Seahawks and Hampton: B+.

Whoever sat across the table from the Seahawks should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

That Hampton pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

The Phillips reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Adding David Edwards by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
