Draft Grade — Jets

Good, not great, for the Jets: B-. Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Jets never addressed quarterback, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.
The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick Analysis
Pick2
Rnd1
Arvell Reese
In the 2nd overall pick they get the heartbeat of the defense at fair value. More want than need.
Pick16
Rnd1
Carnell Tate
Carnell Tate in the Round 1 slot is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. A need, and now a little less of one.
